Ambassador Mariner attended the 15th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum held in Macao from 19-21 June, and delivered a keynote speech at one of the Parallel Forums on ‘New Quality Productive Forces Empowering the High Quality Development of Global New Energy’. Ambassador Mariner highlighted the importance of fast tracking clean energy transitions to meet 1.5 degrees as outlined by the Paris Agreement, including some of the key outcomes from COP28 for Samoa and AOSIS.
