At the invitation of Premier Li Qiang of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Samoa's Prime Minister, Hon. Naomi Mataafa paid an official visit to China from 20th- 28th November 2024.
Prime Minister and her 15 member delegation arrived in Shanghai on 20th November and visited Jiangsu Province (Taizhou City and Nanjing) and Guangdong Province (Shenzhen City, Jiang Men City, Guangzhou) before traveling to Beijing on 25th November 2024.
Prime Minister, Hon. Fiame Naomi Mataafa and her delegation met with Premier Li Qiang on 26th November 2024 where the two Leaders exchanged and confirmed each other's commitment in strengthening and improving the two countries' bilateral ties.
The meeting concluded with a lunch hosted by Premier Li Qiang for Prime Minister, Hon. Fiame Naomi Mataafa and delegation at the Great Hall of the People.
